(RESOLVED)Increase columns of products was created by pippoman
Default columns of products are 3. how do I increase it to 5?

Is the question about the module or the component layout?

in the module you can set the grid to a different number, for the component you will need to create a custom layout.

In Layout front website, List of products appears in 3 columns, Can I increase it to 5?

I have selected:
In display options - Layout for the first page - Mcol

the mcol is fixed to three columns,

so if you want a 5-col layout grap the mcol layout, copy them and create your 5 col layout.

can't make it much nicer then the information on affiliatefeeds.nl/custom-layouts.html the location are depicted their.

The concept of template override is part of joomla itself. The joomla documentation explains how it works in general
