Logging options available?

For some reason some productfeeds that are updates every 2 hours I don't have any items in the database after an update or just a few (I use filters). Without changing anything this issue solves itself by a succesfull import later via cronjob or when I update manually. But the issue can appear when I update mannualy as well. When I try again the import imported like it should.

I can't find any rhythm or logic in the 'failures'. Is there any kind of logging available besides the textfiles in the root of the webserver where more specific messages can be found?

Kind regards,

Louis

if a feed is empty or not available the parer should leave the existing items in the database untouched.

So if you have 100 items in your database and the import fails you should still have 100 items.

The logging you can get from the parser is the output from the feedcron.php.

On server level check the error_log from your webserver.
