These strict issues have been solved quite some time ago

actually the change in view.feeds.php goes back to '19 Dec 2013', rss.php to '16 Nov 2012'

rss feed might be triggered by robots, it's in the header of your website
to remove this delete the addheadling in components/com_datafeeds/views/items/tmpl/default.php (using a Joomla template override)

Hi
I did a search of the forum for this problem but found no record of it
maybe looking under the wrong heading .

Can you Please give me a link to this Topic.

Also is there anywhere I can download the Manual or all the old solved problems
that seem to be still lurking around for us newbies

I will try what you said and see if it solves my problem

The change I depicted was about removing the rss link from the page, not about solving the legacy Probleem.

What version of the component are you using? as it appears that you are using a very old version
